Embroidered Eyelet

On my last visit to Brazil I met this very talented artist who creates beautiful and totally handmade embroidered eyelet clothing. She designs and sells her pieces at her gorgeous ocean front house on a small village town South East of Brazil.

I immediately fell in love with this bell sleeve top but styling it became a challenge and I'm not sure if I reached the perfect result here. I was convinced that I should pair it up with a tribal jewelry (love number 3 but can't afford it) so wore these J. Crew belts as necklace. I wonder if a white maxi skirt or linen pants would be more appropriated...

Top: Handmade from Brazil (same vibe herehere and here); Pants: Nordstrom; Shoes:BCBG; Necklace: J. Crew Liberty Belt; Bracelets: all from Brazil; Shades: Loft; Bag: Zara (only $49 in stores)

  1. Adorei o sapato, é da onde? E a bolsa também!

  2. I love this entire look! All of the jewelry is so fabulous! And I must order those jeans today.:)

  3. I love these necklaces, must fine some for summer!

  4. I love to see a mature woman who's not afraid to express herself. Monica I met you at luckyfabb when you were wearing those wonderful Banana Republic black and white plaid pants. My primary business is wardrobe consulting. You can find the different packages I offer on my blog. Look under Make me over, I have a package called Staging Your Come Back. 5. Oh one more thing, a maxi would have been the obvious, which is why I like your style. Out of the box, Next time maybe a distressed bell bottom denim.A sky high wedge. I think it would be flattering with the bell shaped top. Maybe next time nothing around the neck. I love the detail neckline. This top deserves to be the bell of the ball.

I'd love to hear your opinion... Thanks for visiting!
